Raised in New Jersey and taught by Vince Lombardi in High School, he was interested in photography at an early age. Being a Naval Photographer with suitable military discharge and confidential clearance, he was offered a position in 1955 in Cape Canaveral. He contributed to recording the space race until 1990.
